The APPLES Service-Learning Initiative (SLI) is a unique student-led program that uses service, learning and reflection to introduce students to both the UNC-Chapel Hill campus and parts of the off-campus Chapel Hill-Carrboro communities. Incoming first-year and transfer students can apply to move in to campus early and participate in a three-day program from August 10-13. Help spread the word and encourage first-year and transfer students to apply online by July 1 through the CCPS Application and Nomination Portal.
